Scott S. Rosenthal

Scott S. Rosenthal leads Invicta Athletics and its athlete-representation function. Scott is senior partner of the law firm Rosenthal Lane LLP.  For 10 straight years, he has been named a Super Lawyer, a peer-influenced and research-driven recognition honoring the top 5% attorneys nationwide. Scott is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.

Scott is registered as an athlete representative with the State of Ohio. He is an authority on Name, Image and Likeness rules and opportunities, and is an expert on the collegiate recruiting process for both high school athletes and for collegiate athletes entering the transfer portal. Scott is committed to putting the athlete’s interests first and acting with integrity, transparency and open communication. He meets or exceeds all statutory, regulatory and policy requirements for athlete representation and ethics.

Scott’s deep legal experience helps him and his athlete clients remain abreast of and safely within the fast-changing state and collegiate rules governing athlete eligibility, NIL and direct athlete payment under the landmark House v. NCAA settlement. Scott is a master negotiator and a sought-after legal expert who instructs fellow attorneys at continuing-legal-education seminars. He graduated with his Juris Doctor in 1997 from Cleveland Marshall College of Law, where he earned honors for a range of legal skills and achievements.
